Ngatso would like to invite you all to our 5th indoor Himalayan festival in Queens, NY. Ngatso Fest is an indoor festival that celebrates Tibetan and Himalayan culture, arts, and traditions. The festival takes place in New York, and it offers visitors a chance to experience authentic Himalayan food, craft, dance, and art. The Fest aims to promote and support small-scale, locally owned Himalayan businesses. Participants can showcase their products and build relationships with other like-minded business owners, all in an effort to create a meaningful ecosystem of budding entrepreneurs and make better-informed business decisions.

H.E. Ling Rinpoche will give teachings at the conclusion of FPMT’s East and South East Asian Region and Mongolian Mani retreats on 17th September 2023. Teachings will be online only, via Zoom.

Namgyal Monastery is pleased to inform you that construction of the His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama Library and Learning Center is about 99% complete. We will be getting temporary occupancy certificate soon and then we will begin to move in statues, books, texts etc. and work on the interior over the summer.

We will host a Grand Opening Ceremony on Friday September 8th full of speeches, prayers and Tibetan cultural program. Then there will be a two-day Interfaith-Secular Ethics Conference on September 9-10. Below is a preliminary schedule of events. We will send more detailed information later in the summer.
