Tenzin Choegyal is an acclaimed Tibetan musician, Grammy nominated and ARIA nominated composer, vocalist, and multi instrumentalist whose music beautifully bridges ancient Tibetan traditions with contemporary expression.
Born into a Tibetan nomadic family and raised in exile in Dharamsala, India, Tenzin carries the songs, stories, and spirit of his heritage into his music. Through his extraordinary voice and instruments including the dranyen and lingbu, he creates music that is deeply rooted in Tibetan culture while reaching audiences across generations and borders.
Over his remarkable career, Tenzin has performed around the world and collaborated with renowned artists including Philip Glass and Laurie Anderson. His music is at once intimate, meditative, powerful, and deeply human.
