United Against the CCP Rally

  • Washington Square Park 59 Washington Square South New York, NY, 10012 United States (map)

A rally co-hosted by different organizations including RTYC and SFT.

“ The world has been waking up to the horrific humanitarian violations that the CCP has been committing to a multitude of communities. It is becoming increasingly necessary to demonstrate the danger of the CCP to the world.

This event will highlight the importance of resisting the CCP and demonstrating to the world how dangerous this regime is. During a time when the CCP’s threat to the world is becoming significantly more evident, it is important to take advantage and continue to educate people.

We will feature testimonials from a multitude of activists from many different communities.

Our speakers include:

1. Baggio Leung; former Hong Kong legislator and current activist in exile.

2. Aung Moe Win; Burmese activist.

3. Enkhbat Tochong; Southern Mongolian Activist.

4. Ilshat Hasan; Uyghur activist.

5. Chen Pokong; One of the leaders of the 1989 Chinese Democracy Movement and former political prisoner, author, television pundit, YouTuber, columnist, and political commentator.

6. Ngawang Tashi; Tibetan Activist.

The hope is for Tibetans, Chinese, Southern Mongolians, Uyghurs, Hong Kongers, Thai, Burmese, etc. communities to come together and educate the NYC community on how dangerous communist regimes are.

Please bring flags, posters, banners, and make sure to bring water!

The event will take place at 3 PM on August 15, 2021 at Washington Square Park. We will continuously share new updates regarding this event as we near the 15th of August! We hope to see you there.
